Here is a list of know issues. Please check this list before reporting bugs! I'm working on resolving these issues.
- Freezes after loading first image with ATI Catalyst 9.0(?)-9.1.
- Please update your graphics drivers! Scarab Darkroom will now display a warning when detecting old, possibly problematic drivers.
- Thumbnail breaks on some machines after adjustments. (eg. it is replaced by the thumbnail of another picture)
- Update you graphics driver!
- Updating of the thumbnail sometimes stops working.
- Probably related to the previous problem. Update your graphics driver!
- User interface is broken with Windows Classic theme.
- Very few people use this theme and it is probably a bug in a 3rd party library, so it is not likely to be addressed in the near future. Change the theme setting!
- Strange colour artifacts in some Sony A700 files. (possibly also some other models)
- No EXIF in TIFF files. Not implemented yet.
- EXIF rotation not reset.
- Modifying the contents of the current directory in another application, eg. deleting files, can cause problems.
- If there are 2 identically named files with different extensions, they share the adjustment settings.
- Adjustments are not saved to the thumbnails cache. Not implemented yet.
- No Network Neighborhood. Not implemented yet.
- High CPU usage on some computers even when idle or minimized.
- Nikon D90, D300, P6000 ISO missing. ISO is displayed as 0.
- Thumbnails cache is left on computer after uninstall.
