read error on install 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
There's a thread going on dpreview that's really giving Scarab a good recommendation! I'd like to give it a try! I'm trying to install it (off the Scarab Darkroom BETA link) and I keep getting a read error:

Error attempting to read from the source install database:
C:\Windows\installer\152520e.msi

I'm running WIndows XP, Service pack 2

Is there something I'm missing?

This sounds like a corrupt download. Have you tried downloading again?
The program should work on XP SP2.
